Whole-Person Healing, One Piece at a Time.
When anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, relationships, parenting, or life changes start to feel like too much, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. Peace by Piece Wellness offers counselling for adults and teens in Aldergrove and online across BC, with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach that looks at the whole person—not just the problem.

Whole person care - looking at the whole picture
Emotional well-being doesn't exist separately from the body, relationships, environment, or everyday life.My background in both counselling and occupational therapy allows me to look beyond a single symptom or diagnosis and consider the different pieces that may be affecting how you feel and function. Care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming—because support should fit the person, not the other way around.
Counselling support that meets you where you are
Sometimes you know exactly what’s been weighing on you. Other times, you just know that things don’t feel quite right. You may be feeling anxious or overwhelmed, struggling in a relationship, carrying the effects of difficult past experiences, worried about your teen, or trying to find your footing through grief, burnout, or a major life change.
Counselling offers a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and understand the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Together, we can find ways of moving forward that feel realistic and meaningful for you.
Counselling support is available for:
-
Anxiety, stress & overwhelm
-
Trauma & difficult experiences
-
Teens & adolescents
-
Parenting challenges
-
Relationships & communication
-
Self-esteem & identity
-
Neurodivergence
-
Grief, burnout & life transitions
What could feel different?
Therapy might mean feeling less overwhelmed by your emotions, understanding why certain reactions keep happening, communicating more clearly, feeling more confident setting boundaries, or finding strategies that actually work in your everyday life. It might also be something harder to put into words - feeling more connected, more confident in yourself, or simply more like you again.
Therapy that fits you
My approach is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming. There’s no expectation that you communicate, process, sit, make eye contact, or experience emotions in a particular way.
We work at your pace, building on your strengths and finding approaches that fit your life — rather than expecting you to fit yourself into therapy.
In-person counselling in Aldergrove and online counselling across BC.
Occupational Therapy - Practical support for everyday life
Sometimes the challenges you’re experiencing don’t just affect how you feel — they affect what you’re able to do day to day.
Occupational Therapy looks at the whole picture: your environment, routines, sensory needs, emotional regulation, physical and cognitive needs, and the activities that matter to you. Together, we look at what may be making everyday life harder and find practical ways to make things more manageable.
I offer mobile Occupational Therapy throughout the Fraser Valley, so support can happen where daily life actually takes place — at home, work, school, or in the community.
Occupational Therapy services may include:
-
Functional assessments and support
-
Emotional and sensory regulation strategies
-
Building routines and everyday living strategies
-
Support at home, school, work, and in the community
-
Justification for Equipment (JFE) writing services
-
Neurodiversity-affirming support
What could feel different?
OT might mean getting through everyday routines with less stress, understanding and responding to sensory needs, finding ways to conserve energy or make tasks more manageable, or feeling more confident and independent in the things you need and want to do.
Sometimes small changes to a task, routine, environment, or the support around you can make a meaningful difference.
Support that fits your life
OT isn’t about making you fit into a particular way of doing things. We look at your strengths, needs, goals, and environment to find strategies and supports that work for you and your everyday life.
